Recently they've done a lot of things beyond the ivy walls, including hosting ITASA 2001 and a few BITSA Conferences. They've also played an active role in educating the Harvard community about Taiwan-China relations.

Established in 1997, TAST was the first organization to propose the formation of BITSA, and we're glad they did! While a small group, they have always been a key part of BITSA. Their organization plays an important role in serving the small but significant Taiwanese student population at Tufts.

This group is also new on the scene. With its initial inception in the Spring of 1999, they caused quite a stir in the Wellesley College community. Featured on the headlines of their college newspaper, they had to stand firm against the college's CSA, which did not think they had a right to exist. Way to go, guys! er, gals! :)
